Destin, Florida

Destin has been our go-to family vacation spot for as long as I can remember. It’s where we usually celebrate the Fourth of July, surrounded by sunshine, fireworks, and my cousins from down south. Every year brings new memories, beach games, and laughter that carries late into the night.

To a Michigander, Destin feels like a slice of the Bahamas. The powdery white sand, the crystal-clear turquoise water, it’s pure paradise. There’s something magical about being in a place that feels so far away from everyday life, yet so close to family and tradition. It’s more than just a vacation destination, it’s a place that brings us all together, year after year, to slow down, soak up the sun, and make memories that last a lifetime.
